Powerful storm drops three FEET of powder and promises two to three feet more!

Categories: Guest Connection Weather Blog

It’s been an eventful three days at Meadows. This powerful storm has dropped three feet of snow since Friday afternoon. In the last week our base area snow level has gone from 42 inches to 86 inches - and we have surpassed the 100 inch mark at mid-mountain. Thank you storm!

A big storm like this requires a lot of energy - and we experienced that Saturday afternoon when strong winds forced us to suspend operations for the afternoon and evening. And while winds are less fierce than Saturday, the storm has not relented, delivering over 8 inches of snow since 5 AM this morning, and 16 inches in the past 24 hours.
