With the USFS lifting some restrictions on the Mt. Hood National Forest, starting Friday May 29th we will be removing the barriers at the bottom of our access roads to provide for parking at trail heads on those roads.

It’s been more than two months since the Stay at Home requirements brought our season to a halt. So our team wanted to share with you what they’ve been doing to prepare for next winter, what we’re optimistic about and what we are most looking forward to once we return to operations.

With the announcement that Timberline will begin limited lift operations, there has been questions about whether Mt. Hood Meadows will operate lifts or allow uphill travel. At this time, our status is unchanged. We’ve already announced that we won’t be running lifts - we are beyond our season which would have ended May 2.

Governor Brown Tuesday signaled a gradual return to outdoor recreation with the limited opening of some state parks, outdoor recreation facilities and areas across Oregon for day use. While lifts won't reopen this season the announcement may allow uphill travel to resume at Mt. Hood Meadows.
