Riding under the lights at Mt. Hood MeadowsMeadows night season begins Wednesday, with daily operations extended until 9 PM Wednesday through Sunday evenings. The regular season schedule is 9 AM-4 PM Monday and Tuesday and 9 AM-9 PM Wednesdays through Sundays.

Meadows After Dark features 140 acres of night-lighted terrain served by the Mt. Hood Express high-speed quad and other lifts. Night Pass holders can use their passes from 2-9 PM on these evenings - as can other pass holders.

Night lift tickets must be purchased in advance online through the Meadows website. They are dynamically priced, so the further in advance they are purchased, the better the price will be. There is even a more affordable 5-9 PM ticket available. Equipment rentals and lessons must also be purchased online 48 hours in advance. Night learning packages for lessons, equipment rentals and lift tickets cost less than day lessons. Toyota presents the learn to ride packages.

Night riding under the lights has its own special ambiance, and is usually less busy than during the day, providing for maximum ride time. Meadows restaurants will be open for take-and-go service, but there is no indoor dining. Guests can sit at designated outdoor dining areas or take food back to their vehicle.

Guests can access the lodge to use restrooms and warm up, but are asked to limit their indoor time to no more than 10 minutes.

The night schedule changes up a little for the holidays. Meadows will be open 9 AM-9 PM daily from December 23 through January 3; except for Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24) and Monday, December 28, when lifts run from 9 AM-4 PM. The resort returns to the normal 9 AM-4 PM Monday and Tuesday; 9 AM-9 PM Wednesdays through Sundays after January 3.
