Starting today we are trying a new approach that should alleviate some of the evening shuttling we’ve experienced on busy days when we’ve diverted later arriving traffic to our Hood River Meadows parking lot. On those days, we will allow return ski down access back to the HRM lot until 5 PM.
Mt. Hood Meadows has paused sales of season passes with the exception of the Nordic season pass. We discontinued sales of our All Access pass in December, and now we've removed Value and Night passes.
Tell me Why?
To our guests:
We are experiencing cases of Covid amongst some of our team members and are being very aggressive about quarantining to reduce the risk of spread. This is very likely to have an impact on some of our operations over the next couple weeks...
With an absolutely brutal weather forecast for this afternoon and evening, we’ve decided to pull the plug on night operations for this evening. We will attempt to run lifts through the day from 9 AM - 3 PM, but we may throw the towel in before 3 depending on the weather.
Due to the road closure of Highway 26 (and no timeline for reopening) we have opted to suspend operations today, Tuesday, January 4, 2022. We expect to resume normal 9 AM - 9 PM lift operations Wednesday, depending on conditions, weather and accessibility. Another 13 to 18 inches is forecast today - on top of the whopping 32 inches in just over 24 hours we’ve already received.
