Mt. Hood Meadows 2022/23 Season Passes on sale now

Categories: Guest Connection Media Center

Skier drifting through powder at Mt. Hood MeadowsAPRIL 1, 2022 -- Next year’s season passes are now on sale at the best pricing for renewing or purchasing new. As you know, we limited the amount of season passes we sold this season so we could better manage our visitation. We will continue this approach both with season passes and with lift tickets for the 2022/23 season, using dynamic pricing until we reach our limits. We created an FAQ about how we would manage or limit All Access Upgrades as well as Value Passes. Those who purchase by May 31 will receive a free unrestricted lift ticket to bring a friend (or use yourself on a peak day if you just have a Value Pass) and a free Nordic Track Fee for one day access.

Multi-year renewal discount through May 31

As in the past multi-year renewals (those who renew a pass they’ve had for the last two or more consecutive seasons) receive a discount from the new pass price. After May 31 renewing a multi-year pass will be the same price as a new pass. Pricing on season passes are dynamic and may increase before May 31 depending on pass sales.

Let’s repeat here - season pass pricing for multi-year and new and first year renewers may increase before May 31, depending on demand.

Value Pass is the Base Pass

The Value Pass provides every day access to Meadows - but on certain days (we call them Peak Days) it is not valid until 2 PM. Peak Days are December 26, 2022 - January 1, 2023; Saturdays and Sundays in January and February through March 5; and MLK and President’s Monday holidays. On those days, the Value Pass is valid starting at 2 PM until closing - all other days the Value Pass is good from opening until closing.

All Access Upgrade will have limited quantity

The All Access upgrade allows access every day from open until close - so if having access on those Peak Day mornings is important to you, you should definitely get the upgrade and you should purchase sooner rather than take a chance that we reach our limit. In this 21/22 season, the All Access upgrade was halted in November, and not made available again until mid-March with the Spring Pass. All Access Pass purchasers are also part of the reciprocal mountain exchange program which is still being finalized. We have verbal agreements with Mt. Baker and Sugar Bowl for similar exchange arrangements as this season - three free days (some restrictions apply). We’re still waiting on Schweitzer, Whitefish and Brundage.

Specialty Passes on sale now as well

In the past we waited until the fall to put our Specialty Passes on sale, but this season they are available for purchase along with our Value and All Access Passes. These products are also dynamically priced and prices will increase until they reach their limits.

We have also changed the hours of access for our Night Season Pass as well as our night shift tickets - they will be valid from 3 - 9 PM next season. This will help accommodate the turnover in our parking lots on Peak Days that the current 2 PM start time is causing. Note: The Value Pass will still provide access starting at 2 PM on Peak Days, the same as in the past.
