  • Vehicle Shop / Snow Removal Supervisor

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Year-Round
    • The Vehicle Shop and Snow Removal Supervisor provides leadership to the department team members while assisting with the daily operations of the Vehicle Shop with a primary focus on Snow Removal operations during the winter season. This position plays a critical role in providing assistance and support to the Vehicle Shop Manager in personnel, shop, and snow removal functions of the department.
    • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Must be 21 years of age or older • High School Diploma or GED. • Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles • Current CDL or ability to obtain a CDL. • 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory role • 5 years of heavy equipment or other fleet repair experience • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system • Ability to perform work in a variety of conditions and climates including severe winter weather conditions • Basic welding skills • Previous experience in Snow Removal • Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer operation

  • Meadows PDX Lead

    • NW Portland / Full Time, Winter Seasonal
    • The Meadows PDX Lead is our Guest Services position heading up the Portland Location in the Pearl District. The Meadows PDX Lead acts as one of our most advanced point of sale operators working in a team to support and organize the communications from Mountain to Portland, sales initiatives, and the daily responsibilities of the Guest Services department, and helping guest with their pass fulfillment. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the MHM and GOs Programs.

  • Meadows Learning Center Program Manager

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Winter Seasonal
    • As Meadows Learning Center Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the perpetual stoke as you manage the operations of the multi-week program lessons. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising or managing ski and snowboard school operations.
    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum three (3) seasons of Ski & Snowboard School Management and/or Supervisory experience • Current PSIA-AASI Membership with Level II Certification (any discipline); Level III preferred • Specialist Accreditation(s) (i.e. CS, FS, SS) preferred • PSIA-AASI DCL/Examiner experience preferred • Familiarity with all aspects of typical ski and snowboard school operations • Microsoft Office, POS, RTP (or similar) and web-based tools skills and experience • Strong communication and organization skills • Presentation and public speaking experience • Able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the season • 18 years of age or older

  • Learning Center Training and Adaptive Supervisor

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Winter Seasonal
    • The Learning Center Training and Adaptive Supervisor is integral to the success of the Meadows Learning Center. This position will be involved in the entire life-cycle of the winter season instructor training: organizing and delivering pre-season instructor training content, scheduling and delivering snow training, instructor evaluation and development and more throughout the season. On the Adaptive Learning side of the job, this position will also coordinate Adaptive specific training for all instructors, recruit and retain Adaptive Instructors and work closely with the Adaptive Coordinator for scheduling. This supervisor position will be working with the Operations & Training Manager to grow and evolve the department training programs - perpetuating the growth mindset at Mt Hood Meadows.
    • QUALIFICATIONS: • Current PSIA-AASI Member with Level II Certification required, Level III Preferred • Adaptive Level I or higher certification • Minimum of two (2) seasons teaching snow sports experience or equivalent • Familiarity and demonstration of contemporary teaching and skiing and/or riding • Previous supervisory experience preferred • Specialist Accreditation(s) (i.e. CS, FS, SS) preferred • Microsoft Office, POS, RTP (or similar) and web-based tools skills and experience • Able to commit to work weekends and holidays during the season

  • Meadows Learning Center Instructor

    • Full Time & Part Time Positions, Winter Seasonal
    • Interested in working as a ski or snowboard instructor this winter? Our instructors join a team of highly skilled educators passionate about sharing the sport with our guests. We are currently taking applications for Alpine, Snowboard, and Nordic instructors both experienced and non-experienced. Part and Full time Instructor positions are available!

  • Freeride Team Head Coach

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Winter Seasonal
    • The Head Freeride Coach will be involved in interviewing, hiring, and training freeride coaches; planning, assigning, and directing work. They will work with Learning Center department supervisors and managers in appraising performance of Freeride coaches, rewarding and disciplining coaching staff, addressing guest complaints, and resolving potential and existing conflicts.
    • QUALIFICATIONS: • Certifications: • Current PSIA-AASI Level II Certification or higher • PSIA-AASI Freestyle Specialist 1 (FS1) accreditation, FS2 preferred • PSIA-AASI Children's Specialist 1 (CS1) accreditation, CS2 preferred • Current USSA and/or USASA Coaches and/or Athlete Membership • Competitive background in freeride competition preferred • Previous leadership experience preferred • Familiarity with ski and snowboard school and club sports team operations • Microsoft Office, POS, RTP (or similar) and web-based tools skills and experience • 18 years of age or older • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Lift Electrical Technician

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Year-Round
    • The lift electrical technician’s chief responsibility is the safe and reliable performance of our lifts. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical/mechanical skill set and demonstrates an ability to positively work as part of a larger team. We are a learning organization, and as such the technician is involved with training new apprentice technicians. Position conducts electrical maintenance both preventative and unscheduled, and also works closely with the lift maintenance team under the direction of the lift maintenance manager. May also work with facilities electrical department.
    • QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in lift electrical field • Possess firm understanding of detachable lift systems both electrical and mechanical • Experience on Leitner-POMA detachable lift systems preferred • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook. PLC ladder logic programming experience preferred • Oregon LME electrician’s license or greater (or other state equivalent) preferred, but not required • Must be able to be insured to drive company vehicles • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Ability to work harmoniously/diplomatically with a variety of people including the public. • Ability to climb/work at substantial heights in all kinds of weather (heat, cold, rain, wind, ice, snow, etc.)

  • Lift Maintenance Technician

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Year-Round
    • The Lift Technician assists with all aspects of maintenance, repairs and inspections for all lifts, buildings, equipment and facilities related to the Lift Maintenance department.
    • QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous verifiable lift maintenance experience with emphasis on lift systems involving hydraulic tensioning and braking systems, rigging, low voltage electrical troubleshooting, detachable grip and terminal work, tower machinery and employee and passenger safety • High school diploma or G.E.D. • Ability to pass the technician test and verify appropriate skills • Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles • Demonstrated understanding of ANSI B77.1-2017 • Heavy machinery and snowmobile operation experience • Ability to commit to working weekends, holidays, nights during the ski and snowboard season

  • Bus Driver in Training

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Winter Seasonal
    • As a learning organization, we have developed a CDL Bus Driver Training Program to provide paid training opportunities for you to obtain your CDL. Participants chosen for this program will receive hands on training and assistance to learn the many aspects of safely operating a commercial passenger vehicle according to state and federal regulations. Being a driver offers competitive wages, a solid career path and an important role in making the magic happen here at Mt Hood Meadows. We will also reimburse you up to $500 once you successfully complete the training program and obtain your CDL to operate the resort buses. Apply if you're interested in this training program. Training starts October, 2019 with the intention of having graduates ready to go as CDL Drivers for the 2019-20 winter season.
    • Requirements: • Must obtain a CDL Instruction Permit prior including Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement and Med Card • Ability to safely operate busses in all weather and road conditions including installing chains when needed • Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles • Excellent guest service and communication skill • Must be 19 years of age or older for insurance purposes

  • Freestyle Terrain Groomer

    • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Winter Seasonal
    • We are seeking advanced level Freestyle Groomers to put together an elite team of professionals to build and deliver the highest quality in terrain park features wrapped in a big mountain experience. Plug it, build it, jib it, send it. We have the Tier 4 PB 400 series, a machine you want to operate in all conditions: brand new and the first ski area in the northwest. Build the best terrain design features with less of an impact on the environment.
    • Collaborate; join forces, team-up, rally. Work together with an incredible crew of experienced and stoked park builders and hand crafters. Design masterpieces with the world leaders in terrain grooming Snow Park Technologies.
    • What does it take? 3-5 years of experience in freestyle grooming. Excellent team work and communication skills. Strong attention to detail; safety focused. General understanding of daily snow cat maintenance.

  • Patroller

    • Meadows, Full Time/Part Time, Winter Seasonal
    • Patrollers are primarily responsible for helping to get the ski area open on time, on-going hazard evaluation and risk management, as well as patient stabilization and transportation and timely closings. • QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at minimum: current National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care certification, and CPR for Healthcare Providers; Must be at least 18 years of age; Must not be on the Federal Exclusion list; Must be able to ski all terrain in all conditions; Lift and carry up to 70 pounds; Ability to withstand being outside in very bad weather for extended periods of time; Must be able to commit to work weekends and holidays during the winter season
