Freeride Coaching - We are preparing for the 2020-2021 season... stay tuned for updates!

Our three day camps will run December 21 to 23 and January 2 - 4 for Winter Break and March 23 - 25 and March 30 - April 1 for Spring Break. The price ranges from $279 to $329 based on when you purchase so make sure to sign up as early as possible. Three-day camp check-in will start at 8:00 am each day, with each coaching session beginning at 8:55am and runs until 3:00pm, with a 1-hour break for lunch.

Kids Freeride Camp – Ages 7 -14

Our Freeride Camps are a great opportunity to take all-mountain skiing and snowboarding to the next level. Whether you want to explore Mt. Hood Meadows’ steeps and varied terrain, are looking to enter the various parks for the first time, or are considering joining the Meadows Freeride Team, these camps are a great way to progress your skills. This camp is open to participants ages 7 to 14 who are a minimum of Intermediate level skiers or snowboarders – Intermediate level is defined as snowboarders capable of making heel-side and toe-side turns on most blue terrain and skiers able to ski parallel on most blue terrain. Groups will be paired up with a Freeride coach and topics like all-mountain skiing and snowboarding, park safety and etiquette, deep snow techniques, etc. will be covered. Groups will be split up by age and ability level. Reservations are typically required 48 hours before the first day of all camps. These are popular camps so sign up in advance for best pricing and availability.

Meadows Freeride Team - Starting the Weekend of January 11th and 12th

The Meadows Freeride Team is a multi-week program that consists of high level coaching for skiers and snowboarders who seek to explore difficult and varied terrain. The program is available to kids ages 7 through High School who are able to fluidly link turns on black groomed terrain. All Freeride Team participants must be open to learning new techniques and exploring different terrain all over the mountain, this includes steeps, powder, trees, terrain parks, half pipe, and other variable conditions. As a member of the Meadows Freeride Team you get to choose the length of your season; coaching sessions this season consist of an 8 day, 12 day and 24 day options with the additional option to add up to four 3-Day Freeride Camps that are held during Holiday Break in December/January and during Spring Break in March.

Ready to compete? Meadows Freeride Team members who are ready to invest the time and effort to excel in competition have the option to do so. Our Freeride coaches are ready to help all team members reach their goals, whether those goals are to compete in USASA events or strive for a personal best outside of competition. Those who plan to participate in competitions this season should opt for as many coaching days as they can when signing up for the Freeride Team, this would include purchasing add-on three day Freeride Camps, to start and end the season. Check-in at 8:00am each day, with each coaching session beginning at 8:55am and run until 3:00pm, with a 1-hour break for lunch.

Skiers and snowboarders who will focus on competition must be comfortable skiing and snowboarding on most black terrain at Mt. Hood Meadows. The team will compete locally on Mt. Hood and there may be extra fees for some competitions.

The Freeride Team products does not include a season pass, lift ticket, rentals. Hot lunch may be purchased by program length.
