2021-22 Youth Full-Day Lessons (ages 7 - 14)

UPDATE: Due to concerns over increasing COVID-19 cases, supervised lunch will no longer be offered starting Jan. 8, 2022.

Youth full-day ski or snowboard group lessons include four hours of instruction from 9:30-11:30 AM and 1:00-3:00 PM, with a break in between for lunch. Students must be checked out for lunch at 11:30 AM and checked back in after lunch starting at 12:30 PM for the afternoon portion of the full-day lesson.

For the 2021-22 season these lessons are available for children ages 7-14 of all ability levels from First Time through Black level skiers and snowboarders. Note: Adult lessons are available for students ages 13 and older if your teenager prefers to be with older students. Also please note that youth half-day lessons are available for ages 4 to 6 – there is no full-day option for children under 7.

Our youth group lessons will check-in and meet outside on the snow again this season at the Youth Lesson Corral, located on the mountain side of the Sahale Lodge, near the bottom of the Daisy chairlift.

Morning check-in begins at 9 AM, with morning lessons departing promptly at 9:30 AM and returning at 11:30 AM. Afternoon lesson check-in begins at 12:30PM, with lessons departing promptly at 1PM and returning at 3PM. There is a 90-minute lunch break, to rest up, hydrate and have a lunch with your child. We depart promptly at 1PM, so late arrivals will miss the afternoon session.

Rentals for lessons can be picked up at our new Rental Center, located on the main floor of the Sahale Lodge. Rentals must be picked prior to checking in at the Children's Corral for lessons.

All lessons must be purchased online in advance of your chosen arrival date and lesson start time.

We recommend arriving at the Sahale Lodge at least 1 hour prior to your lesson start time. This will give you enough time to get fitted for your rentals, use the restroom, get dressed for the day’s conditions and check-in for your lesson on time.

During the lesson time your child may need to come inside the Children’s Learning Center to use the restroom, get a drink of water (or hot cider or hot cocoa), or have a small snack to tide them over until the end of the lesson. If there are any dietary concerns or additional special precautions you require for your child, please let us know during lesson check in.
