Mt. Hood Meadows is one of the most accessible ski resorts to a major metropolitan city, in the country. Our guess is that you already know about our spectacular skiing and snowboarding, varied terrain, and great conditions. If not, let us convince you why Meadows is the place for you!
Once the season begins, we are open daily from 9 AM - 4 PM, with extended operations to 9 PM Wednesday-Sunday for Meadows After Dark when conditions allow (typically in early to mid December through early March). Check out our current operating schedule here. We have 11 lifts and 85 runs to enjoy, so check out our trails. We update our Conditions page regularly - check it out before you come up so you are prepared for the weather and snow conditions.
The main lodge includes several restaurants, our Ski & Snowboard School, the Rental Center, two retail shops and our Daycare Facility.
We offer day use lockers that use the SmartLocke combo key system - allowing you to have in-and-out access to your locker the entire day. We have banks of lockers in our North & South lodges. The cost ranges from $8-$10 per day, depending on the size and location of the locker.
It's easy to get to Mt. Hood Meadows. It is a 67 mile trip from Portland, get directions or find out about other transportation options. If you drive, you must have an ODOT Sno-Park Permit to park in any of our parking lots. A daily or seasonal Sno-Park permit can be picked up at the DMV, in many locations around town or in our lodges.
