You’ve never done this before or you’re coming back to the sport after a long break. We’ll cover all the basics of a first day experience from getting acquainted with your gear to first glides, turns and riding the Ballroom Carpet surface lift.
This is your second or third day and you’re working on mastering your turns and staying in control on the “bunny hill.” If you’ve been here before you’re riding Ballroom carpet and might be ready for Buttercup on this next lesson.
You’re comfortable on easy groomed green runs and are working towards mastering turns on this terrain. You’d like to improve in this lesson so you can explore some more green terrain that’s available on the mountain.
You’re comfortable on most of the green runs and are ready to challenge yourself on some easy blue runs. You’ll probably still prefer to stay on our more gradual terrain and runs found on the south side like Easy Rider, Daisy and Vista.
You’re comfortable on all blue groomed runs and some blue ungroomed runs. You’d like to improve your skills in this terrain like the runs off of Mt. Hood Express, Stadium, Shooting Star and Hood River Meadows. You would need all mountain lift access for this lesson.
You’re able to handle most of the black runs and want to improve your performance in the steeps and off-piste or maybe want to hit the terrain parks and Heather canyon if conditions permit. You would need all mountain lift access for this lesson.
