      • Uniform Coordinator

        • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Seasonal (Winter), Hourly
        • The Uniform Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting all departments and team members for Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur through: Relationship building (interacting with staff and working with a team), focusing on service (anticipating needs, organization, and planning), helping people (assisting with Uniform and HR services). The Uniform Coordinator's primary responsibility is focused on the uniform functions of the department, but will also assist with various HR tasks in recruiting, personnel administration, fulfillment of team member privileges, and coordinating team member events.
        • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to exercise discretion • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, work independently and within a team, service and people oriented • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Previous cashiering experience preferred • Intermediate level or higher with Microsoft Office applications • Able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season

      • Rental Center Supervisor

        • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Seasonal (Winter), Hourly
        • The Rental Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of staff in the rental center while providing a superior guest experience. There are three supervisor positions available for three shifts: two day shifts and one night.
        • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Must be 18 years of age or older • Three seasons' experience in a high-volume guest service environment • Proficient in Microsoft-based applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Experience with Point-of-Sales system (RTP preferred) • Experience in a rental center preferred • Previous experience as a certified ski binding technician preferred •Previous experience supervising and motivating teams • Commit to work weekends and holidays

      • Mountain Safety Host

        • Mt. Hood Meadows / Part Time, Seasonal (Winter), Hourly
        • Mountain Safety Hosts demonstrate professionalism and commitment to promoting and practicing stewardship, safety education and awareness, and relationship building with our team, guests, and community. The primary responsibilities are to greet and provide guests with resort information, directions, and operational communication. Mountain Safety Hosts provide a friendly, approachable, and watchful presence on the slopes, modeling responsible skier/rider behavior and engaging with guests through on-hill safety education.
        • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Must be 18 years of age or older • Advanced skiing or snowboarding skills • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions • Strong verbal communication skills • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays •

      • Vehicle Shop / Snow Removal Supervisor

        • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Year-Round
        • The Vehicle Shop and Snow Removal Supervisor provides leadership to the department team members while assisting with the daily operations of the Vehicle Shop with a primary focus on Snow Removal operations during the winter season. This position plays a critical role in providing assistance and support to the Vehicle Shop Manager in personnel, shop, and snow removal functions of the department.
        • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Must be 21 years of age or older • High School Diploma or GED. • Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles • Current CDL or ability to obtain a CDL. • 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory role • 5 years of heavy equipment or other fleet repair experience • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system • Ability to perform work in a variety of conditions and climates including severe winter weather conditions • Basic welding skills • Previous experience in Snow Removal • Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer operation

        • Interested in working as a ski or snowboard instructor this winter? Our instructors join a team of highly skilled educators passionate about sharing the sport with our guests. We are currently taking applications for Alpine, Snowboard, and Nordic instructors both experienced and non-experienced. Part and Full time Instructor positions are available!

      • Freeride Team Head Coach

        • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Winter Seasonal
        • The Head Freeride Coach will be involved in interviewing, hiring, and training freeride coaches; planning, assigning, and directing work. They will work with Learning Center department supervisors and managers in appraising performance of Freeride coaches, rewarding and disciplining coaching staff, addressing guest complaints, and resolving potential and existing conflicts.
        • QUALIFICATIONS: • Certifications: • Current PSIA-AASI Level II Certification or higher • PSIA-AASI Freestyle Specialist 1 (FS1) accreditation, FS2 preferred • PSIA-AASI Children's Specialist 1 (CS1) accreditation, CS2 preferred • Current USSA and/or USASA Coaches and/or Athlete Membership • Competitive background in freeride competition preferred • Previous leadership experience preferred • Familiarity with ski and snowboard school and club sports team operations • Microsoft Office, POS, RTP (or similar) and web-based tools skills and experience • 18 years of age or older • High School Diploma or equivalent

      • Lift Electrical Technician

        • Mt. Hood Meadows / Full Time, Year-Round
        • The lift electrical technician’s chief responsibility is the safe and reliable performance of our lifts. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical/mechanical skill set and demonstrates an ability to positively work as part of a larger team. We are a learning organization, and as such the technician is involved with training new apprentice technicians. Position conducts electrical maintenance both preventative and unscheduled, and also works closely with the lift maintenance team under the direction of the lift maintenance manager. May also work with facilities electrical department.
        • QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in lift electrical field • Possess firm understanding of detachable lift systems both electrical and mechanical • Experience on Leitner-POMA detachable lift systems preferred • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook. PLC ladder logic programming experience preferred • Oregon LME electrician’s license or greater (or other state equivalent) preferred, but not required • Must be able to be insured to drive company vehicles • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Ability to work harmoniously/diplomatically with a variety of people including the public. • Ability to climb/work at substantial heights in all kinds of weather (heat, cold, rain, wind, ice, snow, etc.)

        • The Lift Technician assists with all aspects of maintenance, repairs and inspections for all lifts, buildings, equipment and facilities related to the Lift Maintenance department.
        • QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous verifiable lift maintenance experience with emphasis on lift systems involving hydraulic tensioning and braking systems, rigging, low voltage electrical troubleshooting, detachable grip and terminal work, tower machinery and employee and passenger safety • High school diploma or G.E.D. • Ability to pass the technician test and verify appropriate skills • Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles • Demonstrated understanding of ANSI B77.1-2017 • Heavy machinery and snowmobile operation experience • Ability to commit to working weekends, holidays, nights during the ski and snowboard season

      • Bus Driver in Training

        • As a learning organization, we have developed a CDL Bus Driver Training Program to provide paid training opportunities for you to obtain your CDL. Participants chosen for this program will receive hands on training and assistance to learn the many aspects of safely operating a commercial passenger vehicle according to state and federal regulations. Being a driver offers competitive wages, a solid career path and an important role in making the magic happen here at Mt Hood Meadows. We will also reimburse you up to $500 once you successfully complete the training program and obtain your CDL to operate the resort buses. Apply if you're interested in this training program. Training starts October, 2019 with the intention of having graduates ready to go as CDL Drivers for the 2019-20 winter season.
        • Requirements: • Must obtain a CDL Instruction Permit prior including Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement and Med Card • Ability to safely operate busses in all weather and road conditions including installing chains when needed • Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles • Excellent guest service and communication skill • Must be 19 years of age or older for insurance purposes

      • Freestyle Terrain Groomer

        • We are seeking advanced level Freestyle Groomers to put together an elite team of professionals to build and deliver the highest quality in terrain park features wrapped in a big mountain experience. Plug it, build it, jib it, send it. We have the Tier 4 PB 400 series, a machine you want to operate in all conditions: brand new and the first ski area in the northwest. Build the best terrain design features with less of an impact on the environment.
        • Collaborate; join forces, team-up, rally. Work together with an incredible crew of experienced and stoked park builders and hand crafters. Design masterpieces with the world leaders in terrain grooming Snow Park Technologies.
        • What does it take? 3-5 years of experience in freestyle grooming. Excellent team work and communication skills. Strong attention to detail; safety focused. General understanding of daily snow cat maintenance.

      • Patroller

        • Meadows, Full Time/Part Time, Winter Seasonal
        • Patrollers are primarily responsible for helping to get the ski area open on time, on-going hazard evaluation and risk management, as well as patient stabilization and transportation and timely closings. • QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at minimum: current National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care certification, and CPR for Healthcare Providers; Must be at least 18 years of age; Must not be on the Federal Exclusion list; Must be able to ski all terrain in all conditions; Lift and carry up to 70 pounds; Ability to withstand being outside in very bad weather for extended periods of time; Must be able to commit to work weekends and holidays during the winter season

        Join the amazing team at the Crooked Tree Tavern! Our dishwashers are really kitchen assistants - they do more than washing dishes and cleaning.
